A special handmade Easter card will be
treasured long after the chocolates have gone!
GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES
A4 sheet of green card; ruler; pencil; scissors;
1
large, 3 medium and 2 small yellow
pom-poms; PVA glue; orange card scraps;
3 black seed beads; stick-on letters
HERE’S HOW
STEP 1 Measure 12cm down each long side
of the green card. Mark and make a fold on
this line. Measure another 12cm along from
the fold, mark a line and fold again in the
opposite direction.
STEP 2 Create spiky grass by snipping
triangles into the short flap, as shown above.
STEP 3 To make chicks, stick 1 large and
2 medium pom-poms on card for bodies, and
medium and small pom-poms for heads.
STEP 4 Snip 3 tiny triangles of orange
card for beaks. Glue beaks and eye beads in
place, and let dry.
STEP 5 Spell out ‘Happy Easter!’ using stick-on
letters, and write a special message inside.
